Trading Toolbox

A Bulgarian platform for long-term investors. Every week it checks over 4,500 stocks for debt, profit, cash flow and trend, gives each one a risk grade from A to F and tells you when something changes in the companies you own.

How we work

We test before we use. Every rule behind a grade is tested on 2016–2026 S&P 500 data first. Tests that failed are published too: our own dip screen did not beat the market, and neither did copying Buffett's or Congress's public filings.

The grade is a risk check, not a forecast. Stocks we grade A or B fell more than 30% in a year 2–3 times less often than D or F, without a lower average return (S&P 500, 2016–2026). It does not tell you which stock will beat the market, and we never claim it does.

Every pick stays public. Each idea we publish is tracked from the price we printed against the S&P 500, losers included. The record is still short, so it proves nothing yet in either direction.

No investment advice. We show data and our tests. What to buy is your decision; nothing on the site is a personal recommendation.

Who is behind it

Gerasim Tsonev founded Trading Toolbox and co-founded AutoTax (autotax.bg), which turns broker statements into a Bulgarian tax return. A graduate of the Mathematics High School in Varna and of computer science at the University of Southampton, he builds the weekly checks behind every grade on this site and tests each rule on ten years of S&P 500 data before it is used. What did not survive the test is published too.
